A perfect recipe for Cinco de Mayo

No feast is complete without some fresh Guacamole! Here is a great recipe that will get rave reviews!

Ingredients:

2 Ripe Avocados
1 Large Clove of Garlic
1 Small (Red or White) Onion
1 Small Jalapeño
1 Ripe Tomato
1 Small Lime (or Lime Juice)
¼ cup Chopped Fresh Cilantro
Seasoning Salt
Pepper


Instructions:

Cut avocado in large chunks and mash coarsely in large bowl with a fork. Finely dice the garlic, onion, jalapeño, tomato, and cilantro and blend gently with the avocado - leaving some small chunks is fine. Add a teaspoon of seasoning salt, ½ teaspoon of black pepper, and the juice of one lime. Gently fold the ingredients together, cover and refrigerate for 1 hour.

Serve with tortilla chips as a great appetizer, or as a side to tacos or fajitas!

Tip: To spice up your Guac, add a few dashes of your favorite hot sauce and enjoy!
